This weekend sees the January 2018 Gwent Open tournament commence, with the top eight players from the previous Pro Ladder season competing for their share of the $25,000 USD prize pool as well as the all-important Gwent Masters Crown Points. What's more is that the top two players will secure their place at the Gwent Challenger competition in April as well.

The quarterfinals start tomorrow with the semifinals and final on Sunday, January 21, and coverage begins at 16:00 CET (15:00 BST) tomorrow on CD Projekt Red's Twitch channel. Regular updates will be posted on the Gwent Twitter account as well, so that those who aren't watching the stream can keep up.

Connagh 'Merchant' Hawkins; Dane 'McBeard' McBurnie; Miguel 'MegaMogwai' Guerrero León; and David 'ImpetuousPanda' Gil Nolskog will be casting the tournament, and viewers can earn Card Kegs and other goodies just by watching the tournament, details of which can be found here.
